RPD180um Stone Paper Sheets Tear Resistant Origami Stone Paper

Origami Stone Paper RPD180um Waterpfoof Tear Resistant Biodegradable For Painting Album Stationery Bags Envelops

The primary ingredient in stone paper is Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) which comes from stone or rock, so stone paper is also called rock paper.

Stone Paper is made from crushed stone powder, combined with a non-toxic and recyclable binding agent HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). Stone paper is an extremely environmentally friendly paper which is different from traditional paper because it has non wood-pulp.

Stone paper is made using calcium carbonate, a compound found in rocks, and bio-resin. The two materials are combined to form a non-toxic and recyclable material that has the texture and look of regular paper. The production process involves crushing the calcium carbonate into powder, melting the resin, combining the two ingredients together and then cooling them. Once cooled, the mixture is extruded through rollers which form sheets of stone paper. The sheets are then cut into desired sizes for use as stationery items such as notebooks or cards.

Unique characteristics

Stone Paper is a new generation of paper and an excellent alternative to traditional paper. it’s tree-free paper that consists almost entirely out of minerals.

1. 100% waterproof

Liquids such as water and oil do not affect Stone Paper.

No wood fibers
The swelling of food fibers destroys woodpulp-paper when it comes in contact with liquid. Result: deformation of the print surface and a destroyed product.
Stone Paper is 100% waterproof and liquids have no effect on the material. If it gets wet, you can simply dry it.

2. 100% Tree free. Stone Paper saves trees.

1 ton Stone Paper instead of woodpulp paper means oxygen for 40 people a year.

Completely produced from waste product.
18 trees need to be cut down for 1 ton woodpulp paper.

Stone Paper consists entirely out of waste and recycled material and therefore has a much lower impact on the environment. For a ton of woodpulp paper, 18 trees need to be cut down which are then replaced with fast growing trees that destroy the bio-diversity. Pulp paper can be recycled 7 times but each process has the same destructive effect on the environment.

3. Save 2270 liter water

1 ton Stone Paper instead of woodpulp paper means 142 days of showering.

Stone Paper: Zero water usage
35.000 liters of water is necessary for the production of woodpulp paper.

During the production of 1 ton of woodpulp paper 2.770 liter out of 35.000 is lost. So using Stone Paper saves 2.770 liter of water, the equivalent of 50 glasses of water per person per month.

4. Reduce 949kg CO2

During the production of 1 ton of Stone Paper instead of woodpulp, you save the amount of CO2 that would be expended on a journey of 4.520 km by car.

Stone Paper 482 kg CO2, Pulp papier 1.431 kg CO2.
The CO2 emission from production to end-user: the CO2 emission caused by the production process, transport and raw materials. The emission is 67% lower than woodpulp paper. Choosing for Stone Paper is comparable to preventing the CO2 emission of a trip from Amsterdam to Jerusalem by car.

5. Save 85% energy

1 ton Stone Paper instead of woodpulp paper means saving the equivalent energy usage of an average household over 1.5 years.

Stone Paper needs 3,1 Gigajoules, woodpulp paper 20,4 Gigajoules.
For 1 ton Stone Paper you only need 3,1 Gigajoule energy due the very effecient production process. So the required energy is only 15% of that of woodpulp paper.

6. No chemicals

These chemicals are necessary to bleach woodpulp fibers..

Stone Paper uses no harmful chemicals.
During the production of woodpulp paper, various harmful chemicals are used to kill the microbes and bleach the material. Stone Paper requires none of these chemicals..

Recycle Ways of Stone Paper

The stone paper is made of plastic and inorganic mineral powder, therefore the recycling way is the second type of recycling. What’s more, recycled stone paper can be broken into grain which can be added for producing plastic products. The environmental labeling is:
environmental labeling
Cradle-to-cradle design (also referred to as Cradle to Cradle, C2C, cradle 2 cradle, or regenerative design) is a biomimetic approach to the design of products and systems that models human industry on nature's processes viewing materials as nutrients circulating in healthy, safe metabolisms. The term itself is a play on the popular corporate phrase "Cradle to Grave," implying that the C2C model is sustainable and considerate of life and future generations (i.e. from the birth, or "cradle," of one generation to the next versus from birth to death, or "grave," within the same generation.)
Cradle to cradle
(1) Recycling to wood pulp paper recycling plant, Put it into dissolving pulp pool then fish up as disposal.

(2) Light degradation can still be conducted for stone paper without crimson solution agent during the production. And the reasons are as follows: on the one hand, micron-sized stone powder easily absords heat and gets temperature raised under the sunshine, which damages adhesives (plastic cement ) by generating steam and carbon dioxide. On the other hand, the ultraviolet light breaks the molecular bonds and then leads to the structure fracture of adhesives(plastic cement ). Our company put the 200μm stone paper under the sun for 6 months, and the final result was that the stone paper was broken naturally like a eggshell. Besides, we arranged solar simulator ultraviolet irradiation tests with 200μm stone paper, and the test result was also similar to actual sun exposure experiment.

(3) Landfilled

(4) Be sent to incinerators burning

Stone Paper Combines Advantages of Paper and Plastic
"Stone paper" is a revolutionary limestone material, a naturally occurring resource. Not only because of its environmentally friendly manufacturing method, it is a real alternative to the usual materials such as paper or plastic, and the elegant appearance makes your advertising materials a complete success.

Like polyethylene, Stone Paper is durable and waterproof. However, as it decomposes into dust again only after a short time due to the influence of wind and weather, it can compete with biodegradable plastic. Due to its easy formability and foldability as well as the extremely high-quality look and feel, stone paper is comparable to classic paper and just as easily printable.

Stone paper products bring with them all the advantages they expect from a quality carrying bag. Compared to a paper or plastic bag, however, they hardly pollute the environment.

Due to its stability and its modern design, the stone paper bag can also be used as an alternative to fabric or jute bags. Although the popular printable fabric bag is often made from organic cotton, the water used to make this material is gigantic.
