Recycled Synthetic Paper Double Coated Stone Paper Waterproof Tearresistant For Wrapper Stationery Disposable Bags
Stone paper, also known as rich mineral paper, achieves all these things: stone paper uses no tree fibre, saving 20 trees per tonne of paper produced. It uses no water, saving 7,480 gallons of fresh water per tonne of paper produced, reduces or eliminates chemical waste, and reduces solid and air waste.
Stone paper is made using calcium carbonate, a compound found in rocks, and bio-resin. The two materials are combined to form a non-toxic and recyclable material that has the texture and look of regular paper. The production process involves crushing the calcium carbonate into powder, melting the resin, combining the two ingredients together and then cooling them. Once cooled, the mixture is extruded through rollers which form sheets of stone paper. The sheets are then cut into desired sizes for use as stationery items such as notebooks or cards.
But because the paper uses no wood pulp, it could not qualify for easily recognisable ecolabels such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Instead, stone paper is produced using waste marble from the cutting of tiles and pieces that are too small or the wrong shape to make a tile using solar energy and electricity. These pieces are ground into calcium carbonate (also used in tofu, antacid, baby powder and toothpaste).
No bleaches, acids, alkali, or other potentially dangerous ingredients are used in its production, as the paper gets its colour from a high concentration of calcium carbonate, which is naturally white.

Stone Paper is type of paper that is made from crushed stone. It’s idea is about sustainable development with respect to our planet. By using mineral power (Calcium Carbonate) Stone Paper bags and packages are tree-free, and no water or bleach is used during production, which is the case during the production of traditional wood pulp paper.
Stone Paper is produced entirely from recycled waste material and has a minimal impact on the environment, all the while 18 trees are required to be chopped down to produce 1.000 kg of pulp paper. Also it takes consumption of 2.770 liter of water to create 1.000 kg of tree pulp paper and with Roca stone paper any water consumption is prevented.
Yes. Simply recycle it to Plastics (HDPE). But to let you know the production-process, and end-product are clean and non-wasteful. In addition, Stone Paper paper is easily broken down by sunlight; 200 micron thick G-ECO paper will begin to break and crack like an eggshell in the outside air in a period of 9 to 12 months (if the material is left in the sun 10 hours a day). It can also be easily burned without the release of harmful gasses.
Ballpoints and gel pens will work perfectly fine! However, be aware that stone paper does not absorb ink, and it may take a second or two for gel based pen ink to dry. The good part of it is that it uses 15 to 20% less ink during print in comparison to wood pulp paper.
